TrailRax, Inc. Warranty Policy
TrailRax offers a lifetime limited warranty on all TrailRax products. Warranty is limited to product failure under normal operating conditions. Our lifetime limited warranty covers defects in materials used to manufacture our products, defects in workmanship, and broken components deemed to have failed under proper installation and normal wear and tear. Due to the nature in which our products are used, TrailRax cannot be responsible for any chips, scratches, rust or flaking to the finish. Additionally, TrailRax cannot be held financially responsible for any labor associated with installation or removal of our products. The placing of an order constitutes your understanding and acceptance of our Warranty policy.
This warranty does not cover defects caused by normal wear and tear, scratches, accidents, or products used for racing/competition. This warranty does not cover damage to the finish of powder-coated products. TrailRax, Inc. is not responsible for defects that are not in control of TrailRax, Inc. such as trail damage, overloading, incorrect assembly, or poor maintenance practices. TrailRax, Inc. is not responsible for defects or damage to products manufactured by other vendors and sold through TrailRax, Inc.
This warranty only applies to the original retail purchaser and the original installation of the product. This warranty is NON-TRANSFERRABLE. No retailer, reseller, dealer, or agent is authorized to make modifications, extensions, amendments, or additions to this warranty.
TrailRax offers the option for shipping insurance. IF you opt for NO Shipping insurance, our team will not pay extra to the shipping provider to add shipping insurance through them. UPS states that an uninsured package has a maximum of $100 claim amount to the customer if it is damaged. We highly recommend taking advantage of insuring your package. IF you opt for YES on shipping insurance, TrailRax will ensure that the package arrives safely to your door and insured through UPS. IF you opt YES, We will work with UPS to make sure the package arrives safely in a timely manner and if something were to happen in transit, we will work with UPS and get you replacements sent out in a timely manner.
For products to be considered under the warranty policy, a warranty claim must be started with TrailRax. Once a claim is submitted, all warranty items will be initially reviewed for eligibility utilizing customer provided information from the claim form. A Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) will be assigned from TrailRax to the customer after the initial analysis has been completed. Instructions for shipping the product safely to TrailRax will be provided with the RMA. Damages, rebuild, and cleaning fees may apply if the product is received without meeting shipping instruction requirements. Additionally, if the product is sent back to our manufacturing facility, the items will have a physical inspection to ensure it meets our criteria. The original purchaser is responsible for shipping expenses to return the defective product to TrailRax. If the product arrives at TrailRax and does not qualify for the warranty after a physical inspection, alternative options will be provided to the customer at that time.
TRAILRAX HAS THE RIGHT TO REFUSE/VOID A WARRANTY IF THE PRODUCT FALLS UNDER ANY OF THE VOID ACTIONS AS STATED BELOW; AND WILL NOT BE ELIGIBLE FOR EXCHANGE, REFUND OR WARRANTY CONSIDERATION.
ACTIONS THAT WILL VOID YOUR WARRANTY
- IF PRODUCT WAS NOT PURCHASED DIRECTLY FROM TRAILRAX OR AUTHORIZED TRAILRAX RETAILER OR DISTRIBUTOR.
- PROOF OF PURCHASE CANNOT BE PROVIDED.
- INSTALLATION OF THE PRODUCT ON THE WRONG VEHICLE OR MODEL.
- IF DETERMINED THAT PRODUCT OR INSTALLATION WAS MODIFIED, CHANGED, ALTERED OR CUSTOMIZED IN ANY WAY.
- REINSTALLATION OF PRODUCT ON ALTERNATE VEHICLE.
- INSTALLATION OF THE PRODUCT WAS IMPROPER. FOR EXAMPLE, CROSS THREADING HARDWARE.
- USER NEGLIGENCE AND CARELESSNESS IS OBSERVED
